This unique one room cottage, made from fieldstone and slate was built more than 260 years ago as the original house! The cottage is now your private getaway with a large heated outdoor private Hot Tub on your own deck which can be enjoyed all year around! Enjoy fabulous views, privacy and quietness from the tub or enjoy sitting under the shade of the giant Butternut tree. Our sheep can walk right up to your deck to be fed. No other guests are in or near this cottage so privacy is guaranteed.  In winter it can be heated by the beautiful gas fireplace or use the central A/C unit to heat and cool. Nicely restored to an as-new condition with a smaller private tiled bathroom (no outhouse) with shower and toilet. The sink, mirror and hairdryer are located in the bedroom. (European style) A Queen size bed with top of the line bedding is guaranteed to give you a perfect night's sleep. An iron, ironing board, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker are available in the room. A comfortable leather sofa and flat screen TV with DVD/CD player finish this room. You are about 150 feet from the main building where breakfast (included) is served. All of the amenities of the main building are of course available to you.
